I've been pretty overwhelmed with everything going on! It's all exciting though! Wade & I went to Arizona last weekend & I was able to meet three of his sisters, Jennifer, Kimber & Amy. They're all very nice. I only have one more of his brothers to meet & then I'll have met all of his 10 siblings. This week has been fun. We've been doing a lot of planning because it's going to be pretty soon. August 17th is our wedding at the San Diego Temple and then our reception is on the 18th. So we have a lot to do in 2 1/2 months! Mom & I went looking for dresses today, so that was fun. Carol is going to make it. I'm really glad she offered to do that for me! VERY nice of her. This is a letter that Charish emailed me today. It made me feel really good.

{Lyric's Journal Entry} BIG NEWS! Wade & I went out tonight. He took me back to Mt. Solidad where we had our first date & he asked me to marry him!! So now we're engaged! CRAZY! I'm so happy, I'm just very overwhelmed. I'm sure it will all sink in tomorrow. We went home to tell mom & Bruce and then went over to Cori's house & told her the news. Afterwards we went to his house & talked with his parents for a while. Great night, but I'm really tired!!

{Lyric's Journal Entry} I talked to Wade tonight. We talked a lot about our future. I feel SO strongly that he's the guy I'm supposed to marry. He told me that he loves' me for the first time, & I got the greatest feeling. It's so strange to me that I just barely met this guy 3 weeks ago and I'm so in love with him. I never knew it could happen this fast! We're going to Arizona together on Thursday & I'll get to meet 3 of his sisters, so that'll be cool. We'll come back on Sunday night. I'm really excited!

{Lyric's Journal Entry} Well, I guess I've really been slacking! I haven't written about some good days! Wade & I have been going out a lot lately and it's really getting to a point where I don't see myself with anyone else. I feel like Wade could be the one I'm going to marry! He's just so much fun to be with. I can act like myself around him. I guess we really just clicked with each other. Tonight we went to Red Robin for dinner & while we were eating he asked me where I see our relationship going and what it means to me. My only answer was, "That's a big question!" when all along I had an answer. I feel like he's the one. He's very dedicated to raising a big family, and I'm excited to have found someone who wants that. I never thought I would find someone like him. It just doesn't feel real I guess!!

Wade took me to the Padres game tonight. I had a lot of fun. I met one of his brothers, Paul, and his son Nathan. They were really fun to be around.

{Lyric's Journal Entry} Well, I've really been lazy I guess!! I haven't written in almost three weeks! I'll catch up. On Wednesday the 19th Ginny Peterson invited me to a young single adults activity at the Scoma's house. At first I didn't even think about going, but while I was at gym I kept getting prompted pretty strongly that I should go. So I went, and I ended up meeting someone. His name is Wade Poulson. He's my mom's friend, Carol's son and he's awesome! I had so much fun with him. We played volleyball & basketball together and had a lot of fun. On the next Tuesday {the 25th} he asked me out. He took me to La Jolla to the Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Then we went to Seal Beach for a while. After about 20 minutes we went to Mt. Solidad to look at the San Diego Temple. We cuddled a little bit {it was pretty cold} & ended up being there for a while. There was a really good feeling there . . . something I didn't want to go away. We haven't gone out again because I've been busy, but I'm hoping we go out tomorrow night after work!
