Today was Chloe's 3rd birthday party in Fallbrook. It was at Live Oak Park and it was gorgeous. I don't remember this park ever looking so beautiful . . . for some reason I remember it being dirt? It was great to see my mom there. She hasn't been out much since Charish's funeral because of how sick she's been. It makes me happy to know that she's well enough to get out. So love her. The party ended up being 4+ hours . . . the girls had a BLAST. It was hard for me to be there after a while. I really miss Charish . . . SO so empty to not have her there to be in charge of games and cake and everything else. She loved birthday's and always made the kids' parties so much fun. I keep hearing that this gets easier with time . . . not sure that I believe it, but I'm hoping that stuff like this gets easier.

These were the flowers Wade gave me for my birthday. I love the pink. I have always loved white roses, but I'm glad he chose a color this time . . . white roses remind me of Charish's funeral now. These are getting more beautiful every day. I love, love, LOVE roses! One of my silly dreams is to someday have enough money to be able to have fresh flowers in the house. They make me happy.

Today after Reha's gymnastics, we drove down to San Diego so that Becky could watch the girls for us . . . SO great, but we didn't have any plans yet. We ended up trying to think of things we couldn't do with the girls, and with Charly being so young we never get to go to the movies . . . unfortunately there was nothing we really wanted to see . . . but we ended up seeing the new Alice in Wonderland movie and stuffed ourselves on popcorn, Dr. Pepper and Sour Skittles. That's right, we were 12 again.

After the movie we headed back over to Paul & Becky's house, then Becky, Carrie, Kathie & I all went out for a girls night. We ate at Stir Fresh, shopped a little, and laughed until our stomachs hurt. It was so so SO great to just laugh and enjoy life. LOVE these girls!

Painted with the girls today. I am really beginning to see how artistic these girls are. Hannah painted this bird without looking at anything . . . so talented.
